After studying at Penninghen (one of the best Graphic Arts school in Europe), Alex Courtès began his career by creating album artworks for the biggest names in the French House music, such as Cassius, Daft Punk, or Air...

He also designed Daft Punk’s iconic helmets, creating a part of the band’s legend.In 1999, he directed music video for the duo Cassius. 15 years after, the director has worked for some of the most important international artist like Phoenix, Kylie Minogue, Sebastien Tellier, Jamiroquai, Franz Ferdinand, Justice, Cassius, Kasabian or The White Stripes.

Alex is a multi awarded director: in 2005, he won a Grammy Award for “Vertigo” by U2. In 2013, his Willy Moon’s video won the best pop video award at UK MVA and he was also nominated at the D&AD.
